![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Unfortunately the camera picked up a slight green tinge from the backdrop in a couple of pictures. I have a LOT to learn in the photography department. Can you spot some Bob C. and Don W. parts in thar'? |

Great looking guitar and I do love that top. I do have yet another question, when you put the port on, what is the reasoning? |

Thanks for the kind words fellas but as you know pictures hide a lot of snafu's. Frank: The port is a mini-monitor, if you will. It's a personal soundport for the player. As you play the guitar you can actually hear a more accurate representation of what the audience hears in front of the guitar. There is a small gain in overall amplitude and there seems to be a small increase in 360* projection as well. Brock: Yep, it's bound for CA. Don A.: Walnut can be a bit muddy sounding if you are not careful. Walnut coupled with redwood has a nice rich full tone but Don W's redwood top really shines in the mids and crystal clear trebbles. Don W.: "Can't you guys make UGLY, imperfect ones like I make?" Yep, got a whole bunch of them. I found the secret to building those ugly ducklings like I make. It helps too if you have really bad eyes ... well that's my story and I'm sticking to it. |

I bet it sounds great, Tim, but who cares about sound?! Just look at that pretty wood! ![]() I think the color combo is just great--you did a superb job of matching the bindings to the back / sides. Really nice. Steve (Think I'll go poke around my firewood pile.) |
